By the time of this post the Big Lots sale is over.  I visited more than one store on a treasure hunt for fluffy yarns at a steal of a price. I didn't find eyelash yarn of my taste. But, I did spy a Kellogg Fruit Loops cereal looking one - I passed on it. This shopping spree turned out a few baby yarn treasures for me.

Big Lots store is having a yarn special until May 4, 2013 on gala yarn, marked down at 5 for $4. Otherwise you pay the original price of $1. Also the 110 gram baby yarn is 20% off.  Let's see. Do I get more yarn?.....

Baby yarn, snowflake yarn, bunnytail yarn. irrestible colors....So I did get more.

It's true. I have been eyeing the baby yarns at Big Lots because of the colors, the price, the weight, and strand size. I'm most crazy about the two shades of aqua. I believe this yarn is a #3 DK yarn. It's acrylic so it's cheap at $2 a whop. I can't wait to have as many colors as possible. Major craft stores here don't have most of these colors in baby yarn. Big Lots carries novelty yarn. So I guess I can wait until later to get that yarn from Japan after all. Because I hesitated my favorite color, pink shades, was just about gone. You can't count on Big Lots to carry any stock for very long. Since it was 80 cents (20% off) I purchased four, two eyelash and two baby. Maybe this was a steal?  Since it's novelty, I really don't know how to use it yet nor how it will turn out (there weren't any helpful instructions on the label).
