Recently I purchased this Lysol mop to help keep my hardwood floors clean. Now that it's winter I'll need extra help cleaning. My challenge is to crochet extra pads for the mop. Will I finish the challenge or give up? This mop sells at Walmart for $25 but I snagged one at a outlet store for around $8. It will be worth it if I save a few more dollars.
A new year and a new way for me to store and tote my yarns and crochet projects all-in-one! I'm a sloppy yarn keeper when it comes to projects. I don't roll my yarn into balls. Do you?
All I needed was one little helper and voila - I have a more organized way to work on multiple projects at once.
Using a 18 gallon tote and dividers by Duck, I'm moving away from the sloppy phase into the organized phase.
The large skeins, 8 oz or bigger, can now have a compartment of their own. I can pull directly from the center as the large skeins can stand up. The smaller skeins can rest side by side in one compartment. Since it's a 18 gallon standard tote it comes with a lid too so I can hide its contents away.
OK, not exactly for my age group to have a Daniel Tiger doll or dvd, but why not have that cute striped scarf that Daniel wears. I couldn't help but notice that Daniel is all into red. I haven't made the scarf yet because I can't find that cool striped yarn in stores here. It's called Red Heart Team Spirit in Red & White. It would work out perfect. There's even a free pattern at redheart.com to make a striped team spirit scarf. I want this to be one of my first projects of the New Year. Go Daniel.
